About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you play a key role in driving the growth of Straumann New Zealand, with a focus on hunting for and winning new competitor accounts, supporting the growth of designated DSO accounts, and developing relationships with key opinion leaders.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of success in business development, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying Prospective Opportunities:
  • Building a pipeline of potential new accounts, using industry knowledge and research to identify and qualify leads.
  • Approaching, Negotiating with, Winning, and Onboarding New Accounts:
  • Using effective communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with customers, negotiate deals, and close sales.
  • Working closely with the Implant Solutions Specialist to ensure a smooth, customer-centric hand-off process for non-key accounts, after onboarding.
  • Supporting the Growth of Designated DSO Accounts and Assigned Straumann Key Accounts:
  • Allocating at least 30% of your time on Territory to supporting the growth of existing accounts, including providing regular updates and insights to senior management.
  • Developing Relationships with Key Opinion Leaders:
  • Building strong relationships with key opinion leaders, leveraging these to support the growth of the business.
  • Providing Strategic Plans and Implementing Them Across Region:
  • Working closely with the Commercial Director NZ to develop and implement strategic plans, designed to drive the growth of Straumann New Zealand.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
