About the role
The Financial Product Specialist is responsible for providing subject matter expertise for our OneAnswer Portfolio Service, ANZ Trading Service, and other investment products within the Funds Management product suite. This includes managing external vendor relationships, facilitating platform enhancements and upgrades, and responding to legislative, operational, strategic, and competitive changes. With your excellent communication skills, you will be able to effectively lead and make decisions within delegations, implement and monitor changes, and ensure the product portfolio is well managed and governed. As part of our highly engaged, capable, and collaborative Product Management team, you will contribute to the development of our investment platforms and support the achievement of agreed financial objectives for ANZ products.
Your Key Accountabilities
- Provide subject matter expertise for our investment platforms.
- Manage external vendor relationships and facilitate platform enhancements and upgrades.
- Respond to legislative, operational, strategic, and competitive changes.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have experience in Product Management, including necessary investment platform product knowledge. A general understanding of New Zealand's investment market and products, as well as strong time management and organisation skills, are also essential. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with attention to detail, will enable you to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel within ANZ, including senior leadership level.
