Job Description

This dynamic role involves providing data-driven insights and having a strategic impact on Rockgas' business growth and operational excellence. As a Commercial Business Partner, you will contribute to the company's strategic direction, driving performance improvements in various areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-depth commercial and business analysis, modeling, reporting, and actionable insights to support strategic objectives and drive performance improvements.
  • Support the General Manager in assessing and approving strategic/growth opportunities for commercial projects and initiatives.
  • Coach people leaders and their teams to build commercial, business, and performance analysis capabilities and understanding.
  • Implement KPI and BI reporting and insights to inform business decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Business Partner in a national retail business.
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial analysis and management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize opportunities and manage processes to convert them into revenue/sustainable growth.
  • Excellent working knowledge of business intelligence tools and techniques.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including writing business cases and delivering/presenting papers at senior levels.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills at all levels of the organization.
