The Job Description
As a Contact Centre Specialist, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences across multiple areas and channels of Interislander. Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Maintaining high product knowledge to assist customers and make recommendations
  • Responding to and processing a wide range of enquiries, including bookings, group and nautical miles communications
  • Communicating timetable changes, service disruptions, refunds, and letters of credit

Requirements
* A passion for delivering excellent customer service
* Proven experience dealing with the public, ideally from a hospitality or tourist background
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Resilience and patience when dealing with challenging customer queries
* Ability to work effectively in a call centre environment using Microsoft software packages
