Revenue Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions.
THE TASK AT HAND
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15.
Prepare journal entries and reconciliations related to revenue transactions.
Ensure compliance with Credit Insurance requirements utilising Omnicom Credit Insurance platform.
Provide variance analysis by client to identify trends and potential issues.
Prepare accurate and timely reports on revenue performance.
Prepare monthly Inland Revenue returns.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate revenue processes.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Monitor Debit WIP balances and prebills across clients.
Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies, including quarterly SBOX reporting.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will be passionate, ambitious, and eager to grow with the business. You will possess excellent communication skills and be a highly collaborative team player.
An Accounting qualification is preferred but not essential.
We are seeking a proactive individual who can independently identify and resolve problems, then collaborate with the Finance Director to enhance processes and outputs.
You will be comfortable using ERP Systems, have advanced excel skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
