This company operates within the construction industry and is proudly kiwi-owned and employs over 400 people throughout their many NZ branches.

They are well-established and have been assisting their customers for 40 to 50 years. This opportunity has come up in their busy & fun Admin & Payroll hub in their Head Office (Auckland), to cover various team members taking annual leave over the next 6 months.

**Hours, Location and Duration**:

- Start late August/early September at latest (2023)
- 40 hours per week
- Mondays to Fridays
- Standard office hours
- Mt Wellington office
- This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract
- Potential for further employment, depending on business needs
- A thorough handover will be given at the start
- After you're settled into the role & have completed training, you'll be eligible to work 1 day per week from home if desired.

**The Role**:

- Provide admin support to a busy team
- You'll be covering bits & pieces of various admin roles
- Ensure that customers, suppliers, & employees are supported
- Making & fielding telephone calls to and from all parts of the business
- Provide top-notch customer service to internal customers
- General Site Support including ordering PPE
- Excel Spreadsheet work
- Data entry of timesheets for construction employees
- Updating an in-house system
- Invoicing
- Chasing late invoice payments
- Payroll admin support
- Possibly some receipting / processing credit car & EFTPOS payments
- General all-round admin support

**About you**:

- You'll be a down to earth logical thinker
- You'll have amazing attention to detail & loads of common sense
- You'll have previous admin experience
- You'll be customer-driven
- You'll be very comfortable working in a blue collar environment
- You love being the 'got to' admin person in the team
- **You'll require a minimum of 12 months on your current NZ Work Visa, or will be a NZ Citizen or NZ Resident.**
