**About the opportunity**

We are delighted to introduce a new Senior HR Advisor role to our team of centralised HR Advisors within Fonterra People & Culture, providing high quality and expert front-line HR advice relating to operational HR policy, process, payroll and systems.

As our Senior HR Advisor, reporting into the Advisory Lead, you will support a highly engaged, high performing, trusted and collaborative team of HR professionals. This team resolves a high-volume of HR cases across a broad spectrum, including (but not limited to) employment agreements (collective and individual), Fonterra policy, legislative entitlements, pay and leave.

You will play a lead role in developing and improving our service quality in line with our People & Culture strategy and initiatives. You will also manage workload across the team, balancing efficiency and ensuring service level agreements are met, whilst providing high quality advice. Continuing to build capability will be a priority and the role will also have a focus on continuous improvement to deliver consistent and professional HR service with the customer experience in mind.

**About you**

You will have proven HR experience at a senior level (3+ years), ideally across a large organization and complex environment. Experience leading a team (directly or indirectly), workload management and working in a shared service environment is highly advantageous.

You must be customer-centric and naturally draw on expert HR knowledge to coach and advise both our team and customers. You will have excellent communication skills, easily build positive relationships and the ability to build trust and influence will help set you up for success. You will be a problem solver, be solutions-focused and bring a critical thinking mindset. You will be comfortable managing ambiguity and have a high level of resilience to make the most of this fast paced and varied Senior HR Advisor role.
