They currently have a vacancy in their Timaru branch for a friendly, enthusiastic and committed sales professional to drive sales in the South Canterbury region.
With a client base full of untapped potential, you need to be able to create and develop strong relationships and develop, service and support effective sales strategies to maximise profitable sales opportunities in the region.

**Your key duties will include**:
- Developing and assisting with sales strategies to achieve budgeted sales and margins
- Management of allocated accounts and developing strong relationships with those accounts to maximise sales potential
- Maximizing sales opportunities across the group as a whole
- Identifying new opportunities that align with strategic planning
- Support marketing initiatives including new product launches and develop regional marketing to support sales activities
- Any additional tasks deemed necessary by your manager
**To achieve success in the role, you will demonstrate the following skills**:
- Previous experience in the electrical or relevant trades environment
- Ability to build relationships with peers, cross-functional counterparts, upper management along with a commitment to helping others be successful
- A team player who likes to understand what motivates their colleagues
- Understanding pricing, margins, and discounting impacts
- The ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, E.R.P and CRM systems
- The ability to work quickly to tight deadlines under pressure
- Ability to communicate information effectively to a wide range of internal/external contacts and the appropriate business channels
