- The Sales Capability Lead role is part of the Sales Operations and Enablement function within Spark’s Enterprise and Government business unit. The purpose of the role is to lead capability development within the sales team through innovative training sessions, webinars, workshops and online and in person skills assessments. The role will enhance the skills, knowledge and capabilities of our B2B sales teams and support senor leaders with their workforce planning.- The aim is to develop best in market selling skills, sales insight, business acumen, sales strategy and thought leadership with enhanced knowledge of global trends and technical literacy across our sales network.**About you**:

- Design and implement a sales capability strategy for Spark’s Enterprise and Government business unit.
- Design and deliver engaging and interactive training webinars for our sales community, focusing on core selling skills, negotiation techniques, account management, and solution-oriented sales methodologies.
- Develop assessment tools, including digital assessments, to evaluate sales team capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop sales skill induction plan tailored for different sales role types - Client Lead, Business Development Manager, Solution Consultant.
- Develop training content for key sales systems and tools and strategic business improvement initiatives.
- Develop a deep understanding of Spark’s strategy and solutions, and how these are relevant for our customers.
- Work closely with colleagues across the business, particularly in Product, Marketing, Process Improvement and Sales Enablement to identify opportunities to collaborate on sales capability training initiatives.
- Facilitate training workshops, both in-person and virtual, to provide hands-on learning experiences and foster skill development within the sales team.
- Collaborate with external providers, when necessary, to enhance the training programme and incorporate industry best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and sales methodologies to ensure the training programme remains relevant and effective.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the training initiatives, gather feedback from participants, and make necessary adjustments to continuously improve the programme.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in sales training and development, preferably in the telecommunications, digital services and IT industries.
- Strong knowledge of core selling skills, negotiation techniques, account management, and solution-oriented sales methodologies.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage, inspire and gain the confidence of diverse audiences, particularly addressed to a specialist sales team.
- Proficiency in designing and delivering training webinars and workshops.
- Familiarity with digital assessment tools and techniques.
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify training needs and evaluate programme effectiveness.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
