**About the role**
The National Sales Manager, will be central to driving the growth and profitability of DX Mail and Dataprint. This pivotal position involves spearheading strategic sales and marketing initiatives in alignment with the company's vision and values. Responsibilities encompass leading a sales team to expand the customer base, crafting training programs for clients and sales teams, and integrating digital sales strategies to adapt to market dynamics. With a focus on achieving maximum profitability and growth, the National Sales Manager will profoundly influence the company's success in the competitive landscape.

This position is a permanent full-time position based in Penrose, Auckland.
**Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for**:
- Develop and implement integrated sales and marketing strategies, merging direct mail and digital efforts for B2C and B2B segments, encompassing market analysis, target identification, sales goal setting, and innovative campaign development.-
- Lead diverse sales teams (B2B, B2C, telesales, and digital), setting clear objectives, fostering professional growth, and cultivating a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.Establish and nurture strong client relationships by comprehending their individual marketing requirements, delivering tailored solutions merging direct mail with digital strategies, encompassing contract negotiation, client satisfaction tracking, and recognising upselling and cross-selling potentials.-
- Utilise data analytics to assess sales and marketing performance, focusing on KPIs for digital and direct mail campaigns, adapting strategies accordingly, and delivering ROI reports to stakeholders for informed decision-making.-
- Continuously analyse market and competitor trends in the mailhouse and postal delivery services industry, including digital marketing advancements, to inform strategic adjustments and identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.-
- Manage sales and marketing budgets, optimizing resource allocation, negotiating with suppliers, and strategically planning investments to maximise returns and support company objectives.-
- Recruit and retain high-performing sales professionals, setting clear targets and reviewing performance quarterly.**Skills and experience**:
- Minimum five years of industry experience with a proven understanding of the demanding and operational nature of the business.-
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing diverse sales teams.-
- Strong negotiation skills for supplier negotiations and contract management.-
- Proficiency in strategic financial planning and budget management.-
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.-
- Ability to conduct market analysis and competitor research to inform strategic decisions.-
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for fostering client relationships and team collaboration.-
- Proficiency in data analytics for tracking sales performance and making data-driven decisions.-
- Experience in integrating digital marketing strategies with traditional sales approaches.-
- Demonstrated ability to set and achieve sales targets while driving team performance and growth.-
- Prior experience in the mailhouse and postal delivery services industry is preferred but not required.-
