As we continue to expand and grow, we need a talented Office Manager to be an essential part of our journey.

**The Role**:
As our Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in the smooth functioning of our day to day operations, juggling various tasks with ease and finesse. You will be expected to provide customers with a first-class service, finding the best solutions to meet their requirements. You will be responsible for the efficiency of internal workflows by managing an operational team, overseeing weighbridge operations and handling the internal booking management software.

**What You'll Do**:

- Coordinate and manage all office operations, including administrative tasks, responding to customer queries, accounts payable and receivable and streamlining workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Accurate entering of bookings into the internal booking system.
- Assist in coordinating logistics and paperwork related to waste collection and recycling processes.
- Maintain effective communication with operational staff and management.
- Demonstrate initiative in the development and maintenance of company policies and procedures.
- Support various teams with administrative tasks, providing essential assistance to keep operations running smoothly.
- Assist with HR functions, ensuring a warm welcome for new team members and maintaining personnel records.
- Maintain and update various databases, records, and reports to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is readily accessible.
- Keep a close watch on office expenses and budgets, contributing to responsible financial management.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an Office Manager, preferably in a role focused on business growth and internal systems development.
- Previous experience in the waste or transport industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, excellent telephone manners and confidence when speaking with customers.
- Proficiency in using office software, such as Google Mail Suite and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities when required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing business needs.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of waste management regulations and transport compliance is a plus.
