**About the role**

Key to the company's success, Brosnan's Organisation Capability Manager will drive our business wide approach to a continuous learning environment to improve business capability, employee engagement, and ultimately organisation growth.

This role reflects the senior leadership' and company's aspirations to build the learning and growth frameworks to accelerate people and support the business in its journey to being a true learning organisation.

**Duties & responsibilities**
- Lead Talent Management for the company by driving the design, coordination and implementation of strategic development initiatives with a focus on learning & development, leadership development, and succession planning
- Provide strategic thought leadership to ensure the programmes are targeted toward building organisational capability and employee engagement
- Lead programme management and review, and regular employee talent reviews, working with managers to develop individual development plans
- Deliver ongoing support, action learning initiatives and coaching to people leaders
- Develop career development pathways and career goal setting, including early in careers programmes, cadetships and apprenticeships
- Maintain strong stakeholder management and relationship through collaboration and influencing skills, together with regular communication
- Develop industry leading programs, building and leveraging key relationships with NZIOB, BCITO and tertiary institutions such as universities and polytechnics
- Oversee new staff onboarding programmes, and upskilling for lateral moves and promotions
- Provide data analytics and reporting against initiatives on a monthly basis

**Skills & Experience**
- Qualifications in the relevant discipline with proven experience in developing, implementing and reviewing innovative best practice approaches, templates, methodologies and tools to optimise organisational outcomes
- Significant professional experience in a corporate organisation working in a strategic L&D capacity
- Superior ability to engage with and influence a broad range of stakeholders across multiple departments in a geographically dispersed business
- A highly flexible and versatile team player who can deliver at both a strategic level alongside rolling up their sleeves to facilitate training and support the business's transformation journey at all levels
