**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.
We have a permanent, 0.7 FTE opportunity available to join our Health Prevention team as a** Administration Coordinator, National Cervical Screening Programme (NCSP)**. This role is critical in enabling the delivery of the NPHS strategic agenda for Pae Ora (Healthy Futures).
**Mōu | About you**
As the Administration Coordinator you will provide day to day administration support and programme coordination to ensure the work of the NCSP is delivered on time and to a high-quality standard. In this role you will work closely with the Manager, NCSP. You will be a networker and a problem solver with the ability to ‘clear the road' so that our processes and ways of working are efficient as possible. A confident communication style is important as you will be supporting governance groups, liaising with clinical and technical staff, and be the first point of contact for general NCSP inquiries.

- Relevant tertiary qualification or comparable experience
- Proven experience in team administration including management of finances and supporting multiple people.
- Experience supporting teams in the use of business systems
- Excellent organisational skills along with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities, and meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest levels of accuracy and confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the capacity to manage relationships at all levels, including with senior Ministry officials and with health sector leaders
- Advanced skills in the MS Office Suite
