**The role**

We’re on the hunt for a proven sales leader to take up a regional management role within our Auckland region - known as Region 1. This region also covers Northland which makes it sizeable in geography and it packs a punch generating circa $100 mill of revenue per annum.

**About you**

We are looking for someone offering a solid sales track record and a disciplined approach to the sales process. You will be able to provide good direction to your team, whilst empowering them to achieve and deliver on targets and KPI’s. This is a hands-on role which will see you out in the region developing a strong sense of your customer base whilst you also guide, coach and support your team.

We see significant growth opportunities within Region 1 and we are looking for someone with the expertise and personal drive to realise that growth.

Success in this role is about leading successfully, and whilst product and industry knowledge would be great, a proven strategic sales and leadership track record is more appealing. With a collaborative leadership style, you will know how to get the best out of people and will enjoy seeing others grow and succeed. You’ll model a strong customer service culture & sales success and build and foster positive relationships between the sales team and the teams in the branches, to ensure high level service delivery.

Your opportunity to make a lasting positive impact will come down to your ability to motivate and provide clear direction to your team. You’ll naturally gravitate to questions around how we better serve our customers, grow share of wallet, maintain & enhance margin position and in turn drive sales growth and profitability. You will have the experience needed to turn plans into actions - which you will inspire your team to get behind.

The flexibility to travel throughout your region is a must for this role, to stay in touch with your team and customers. Attending customer and company events is occasionally required, but we’re a business that’s mindful of a healthy work-life balance.
