People Hub Coordinator

Kōrero mō te Tūranga - About the Role
As a People Hub Coordinator you will manage requests from the business covering people-related functions and will be the first point of contact to support queries and requests.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Acting as a first point of contact for the MPI People Hub, responding to queries and requests with a customer-centric approach.
- Logging, prioritising, and allocating all queries and requests in a timely manner, either within the People Hub or referred/escalated as required
- Escalating non-standard queries to People Hub Advisers or the People Hub Team Leader
- Providing general HR administration support to People Advisers, such as preparing letters and supporting projects e.g. organisational change administration and general HR data requests
- Processing requests for core HR transactions and changes, ensuring these are completed in line with standard operating procedures and comply with MPI policy
- Updating and maintaining files, ensuring these are saved in accordance with our knowledge guidelines
Mōu - About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have some experience in generalist HR/People Advisory within a complex environment. Experience in HR systems and processes would be highly advantageous.
Importantly, you will be a confident problem solver with effective communication skills to help our customers get the right information and resolutions to queries in a timely manner. You will be a team player with good attention to detail and strong planning & organisation skills

The People Hub sits at the heart of the People & Capability, Whakapakari Pūmanawa Directorate. We work closely across the other teams within the Directorate, in particular our People Advisory Team, Talent Acquisition and Payroll teams to ensure we provide employees an excellent people experience.
