We are currently ramping up resources to assist with the planning and design phase of a new programme of work. This is an exciting time to join the team and influence a significant work programme that will make a real difference to New Zealand. We're looking for both coordinators and senior coordinators.

**Te āhua o Te Tūrunga - The nature of the role**

The Coordinator and Senior Coordinator provides expert coordination support for teams across the programme. The role will ensure that the programme is effectively supported with the coordination of programme accountabilities, and stakeholder management activities.

This role will work closely, and flexibly, with the other programme support roles to ensure that the programme has the full range of business management, coordination and administrative support required to operate effectively and efficiently.

**Key activities will include**:

- Provide coordination and assistance to teams across the programme including, but not limited to, diary management, correspondence drafting, and acting as the first point of contact for general group enquiries.
- Seek to continually improve the programme’s efficiency and processes including on-going reviews of processes and implementation of new initiatives.
- Support the financial management of the programme budgets ensuring good financial management disciplines are in place across the group, invoices and contractual obligations are met in a timely fashion and that financial reports are an accurate reflection of financial position (includes all accruals be initiated and processed in a timely fashion).
- Support the Leadership team with coordination tasks that provide the programme with high quality coordination and support to ensure operational efficiency, effective risk management and high performance for the programme
- Manage the organisation of meetings, presentations, conferences, and workshops including venues, catering, and all associated documentation.
- Provide coordination support to stakeholder engagement activities for the programme, including coordination of external and internal stakeholder group or committee meetings and activities, including organising and preparing supporting material for meetings and distributing as required.

**Ngā tino Pūkenga/Wheako - Skills & Experience Required**
- Experience in a coordination role in a project or programme environment.
- Logical, organised with a strong attention to detail while also able to see the wider business aims.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work productively with a wide variety of people, internally and externally.
- Excellent executive report writing skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Positive impact on team dynamics and willingness to contribute to the building of a positive team culture.
- Flexible and able to prioritise, plan and co-ordinate activities and resources to meet changing business needs.
