Great first communications role or an opportunity to develop your technical skills further.

This is a short term temp role working across internal communications for a busy government department. Working with a close-knit team based in Wellington you will have the opportunity to support the following work:

- Coordinate the weekly pānui process, leadership updates
- Contribute to the weekly internal newsletter, including loading and proofing content
- Write comms stories for the channels and content teams
- Project secretary for the plain language act working group and contributing to work

This is a perfect role for a communications coordinator or graduate who has strong technical skills and is looking to get their foot in the door in a busy communications team where they can learn a lot Lived experience with the following platforms would be beneficial:

- Canva
- Adobe Suite - Photoshop and Illustrator
