**The Role**

**The Facilities Manager **is to manage the delivery of maintenance across a national retail network delivering a service to our client, that consistently exceeds expectations while ensuring the highest degree of compliance.

The role is varied and requires a diligent, approachable individual who thinks critically when solving complex problems in a dynamic environment.

High regard for health and safety awareness is essential. The successful applicant will actively participate in health and safety initiatives focusing on driving a solid safety record.

The role forms part of an established international team across New Zealand and Australia.

**Must hold a current driver's license**

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing the delivery of the Services Agreement, ensuring that the contractual KPIs are achieved.
- To provide oversight of all works delivered within the region, working closely with the client FM representatives and BGIS vendors.
- Ensure all works undertaken on site are delivered safely to BGIS standards whilst following the contract requirements through desktop review and periodic audit.
- To manage within client-agreed budgets through the delivery of works in a cost-effective manner.
- Identification of innovative ways to improve the delivery of maintenance services to improve safety or reduce cost across the network
- To actively engage with sub-contractors and self-delivery staff, leading by example to drive process awareness and promote open collaborative communication.
- Undertake planned site inspections monthly to ensure quality control and HSEQ focus (site safety inspection, asset review, site management engagement and review of recently completed works).

**Background & Experience**

You must have a good understanding of commercial/industrial facilities maintenance, with a preference for a trade-related background.
