**Facilities Manager | The Trusts**

**Who we are?**

The Trusts is made up of the Portage Licensing Trust (PLT) and Waitākere Licensing Trust (WLT) which have been given a mandate by community vote to sell alcohol through licenced retail stores and hospitality venues.

Currently the Portage and Waitakere Licensing Trusts have 40 property interests, from these properties, The Trusts operate retail (liquor) businesses, hospitality venues, a hotel and conference centre and investment properties. Facilities management is critical to the operation of the portfolios and business.

***About the role**:
The Facilities Manager (FM) will be assisting the GM Property & Infrastructure in launching a programme of property improvement and portfolio growth. Property is a fundamental and core part of The Trusts’ business and it is essential for us to support our customers, staff, tenants and community shareholders.

***The responsibilities of the role also include but are not limited to**:

- Predominantly focus on “hard” facilities services (maintenance and compliance)
- Continually demonstrate, implement and improve prudent property and infrastructure related health and safety practices and processes with the objective of ensuring zero harm
- Responsible for ensuring that the portfolios are compliant with regulations and legislation on an ongoing basis - Buildings’ Warrant of Fitness, Trial Fire Evacuations, Hand-Held Fire Fighting Equipment
- Monthly reporting and compliance attestation to General Management
- Support the business continuity - facilities management function amidst crisis management situations

***What we’re looking for**:

- 5 plus years’ experience in a property & infrastructure position.
- Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and experience of industry processes for the identification of hazards, their management and mitigation
- Sound, proven experience in a dynamic and progressive organisation at a manager level.
- Experienced at managing the facilities function across a maintenance-intensive portfolio - particularly “hard” facilities services
- Experience of the facilities practices that ensure compliance with property regulations and legislation
- Solutions focused, a strong communicator and well organised
