**_About the role:_**
Reporting to the Contract Manager, you'll be responsible for the administration functions within the Inbound team such as organising the containers to be bought in, communication with the customers, working with transport providers, liase with custom brokers etc.
A logistics administrator typically handles various tasks related to the coordination and management of transportation, distribution, and storage of goods and materials.
**_Key Responsibilities:_**
- Overseeing the movement of goods from suppliers to customers efficiently and cost effectively.
- Managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
- Maintaining accurate records of shipments, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs documentation for international shipments.
- Supervising the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within a warehouse or distribution centre, including organizing inventory, optimizing layout for efficiency, and implementing safety procedures.
- Addressing issues that arise during the transportation and distribution process, such as delays, damages, or inventory discrepancies, and implementing solutions to prevent recurrences.
