**YOUR ROLE**

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Intern to join our team over the summer (November - February). As a logistics intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and learn about various aspects of logistics operations. You will support the logistics team in coordinating the efficient flow of goods, managing inventory, and optimizing transportation and distribution processes. This internship will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the logistics industry and equip you with practical skills for a successful career in this field.

**RESPONSIBILTIES**:

- Help maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking and updating inventory databases.
- Support the logistics team in optimizing warehouse operations, including organizing and managing inventory storage.
- Assist in generating reports and analyzing data to identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as planning, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Assist in coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentation.
- Participate in periodic physical inventory counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Support the logistics team in resolving any transportation or delivery issues that may arise, including communicating with suppliers, carriers, and customers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
- Perform any other tasks or projects assigned by the logistics manager.

**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**:

- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with inventory management systems or logistics software is a plus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business needs.
- Knowledge of logistics principles and understanding of supply chain concepts is a plus.
