An exciting opportunity exists for an **E**vent Co-ordinator & Marketing Assistant** **working within the Marketing team at Dicker Data.

The primary responsibility of this Parnell-based role is to oversee all Dicker Data's events across New Zealand, including the planning and coordination of product launches, roadshows, and training sessions.

**General Responsibilities**
- Event planning and coordination, including attending and being the point of contact for events across New Zealand.
- Take ownership of Dicker Data's venue partnerships to ensure Dicker Data has a range of suitable options to offer business units looking to execute events.
- Provide post-event analysis, including ROI and cost breakdowns for all events
- Ensure Dicker Data is appropriately represented at all events and all corporate displays are to the standard set by the company (premium, high-end)
- Drive company-wide event strategies in partnership with the General Manager
- Forging and fostering strong working relationships with the business units and vendors
- Ensuring there is constant communication between the business units and the marketing team
- Ad hoc Marketing & Communications tasks, as required

**To be successful, you will have/be**:

- At least +2 years of commercial experience in marketing programmes coordination or event planning.
- Degree qualifications in a relevant field
- Advanced communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- High level of self-motivation and resourcefulness
- Proficient knowledge of modern social media platforms (LinkedIn/Facebook/Twitter)
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of public relations and marketing communications
- MS Office Applications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with key personnel across the business
