NEP New Zealand is currently looking for a **Location Facilities Co-ordinator/Rigger **to undertake a key role based in our Outside Broadcast base. This position will be based in Auckland (Mt Wellington).

**The position**:
The Location Facilities Co-ordinator/Rigger is responsible for the efficient and accurate pack, operational presentation, and general upkeep of the Outside Broadcast (“OB”) facilities and equipment assigned to tender / grip units, allocated projects and facilities warehouse.

***Key Responsibilities but not limited to**:

- Project shifts: At the scheduled preparation time, meet the projects Technical Manager to ensure you are fully briefed on the rostered projects which includes all documentation and schedules, pack lists, freight and courier details, travel and ground transport details.
- Warehouse shifts: At the scheduled preparation time, meet the OB Services Manager / Technical Manager to schedule the preparation of the assigned grip unit, review freight and courier details and arrange assistance if required to prepare the detailed specification of your assigned tender / grip unit
- At all other times, complete duties within the warehouse or base work site as directed by the OB Services Manager / Technical Manager.
- Ensure the environment in and around the tender / grip unit is neat and tidy and professionally presented and does not pose any danger to the general public or co-workers whether at base work site or project location.
- During the scheduled preparation time ensure contents of the tender / grip unit is packed and stowed correctly to minimize the risk of damage or danger to the equipment or co-workers while either at base work site, project location or travelling on the road.
- Perform equipment audit stock takes on the content of your assigned tender / grip unit as directed by the OB Services Manager / Technical Manager.
- To clean and maintain the Field Shop area of the warehouse including any hardstand area.
- Take on general maintenance duties when directed within the NEP premises.

**Required skills and attributes**:

- Have a broad understanding of the technology and services involved in the broadcast industry.
- Able to communicate well with technical and non-technical people.
- Ability to complete assignments according to plan.
- Make sound decisions that take into account objectives, risks and implications.
- Be prepared to work shifts, and travel when required.
