Collaborating closely with Programming, Production and Visitor Experience teams, you'll ensure that every event at Q is executed efficiently, safely, and within budget.
Your work will be essential in upholding the values and kaupapa of Q, ensuring that every event aligns with our commitment to quality and client satisfaction.What you'll be doingBe the key liaison between the client and Q internal teams leading up to the eventEnsure that both the client and Q staff are aware of the event requirementsWork closely with Q Team across departments to collectively manage a successful eventCo-ordinating multiple clients and projects at the same timeEnsuring client information is collected from the client according to the contractual timeline and entered into the event booking calendar in a timely mannerContributing in a positive way to the Q values, kaupapa and the work environment.What we're looking forMinimum of two years coordination experience in a venue, event or performance environmentEvent or project management qualification would be an advantageSound organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks and initiatives from conception through to completionDemonstrates a natural ability to inspire trust with clients, conveying knowledge in a calm, composed, and professional manner.Brings a strong understanding of event delivery and excels at finding innovative, solutions-focused approaches within a dynamic and creative environment.About usQ Theatre is more than a venue-we're the beating heart of Auckland's creative scene.
