This is a newly developed role, Auckland based and managing the Upper North region. In this role, you will lead and drive the sales performance of the regional sales consultant team.

As a motivated addition to their leadership team, you will play a crucial role in developing strategies for growth and success. We are looking for someone who enjoys long-term planning, implementing successful campaigns, and overseeing the activities and performance of their sales team members. Your focus will be on the team's success and driving exceptional results.

Working from the comfort of your own home within the Auckland region, you will have the freedom and flexibility to excel in your role. While based remotely, you will travel within your region, taking charge in the field to lead and inspire your sales team. Going above and beyond to achieve sales goals and targets will be your mission.

**The role**:

- Plan and direct the hiring, training, onboarding of new sales representative for their regional area.
- Ensure Sales Consultant receives ongoing support and training where necessary to ensure that they achieve their sales targets and other performance goals.
- Set individual targets for each Sales Consultant and pathways to the achievement and exceeding individual targets.
- Regular one on one contact with individual Sales Consultants, on-going support, coaching, motivation, and goal setting.
- Achieve regional sales growth by successfully leading the sales team.
- Continue to develop the required customer centric culture and behaviours within the sales team.
- Promote an inclusive team culture that works effectively with other teams to support company values and behaviours.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company and legislative requirements.
- Management of: Budgets and Sales Targets, Key Management and reporting, Key Performance Monitoring and Business Improvement.

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

- Proven experience as an experienced leader, passionate about developing team members to exceed their sales targets.
- Relevant sales experience in leading a successful sales team.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective sales and growth strategies.
- A natural communicator with a strong focus on both external and internal customers.
- Self-motivation and drive to exceed SLAs and KPIs.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to inspire and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
