The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Te Whatu Ora, works towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.

We have a permanent, full-time **Lead - Vaccinating Workforce **opportunity available to join our System Enablers & Engagement Group within the Prevention Directorate of NPHS**. **This role is critical in enabling the delivery of the NPHS strategic agenda for Pae Ora (Healthy Futures).

The **Lead - Vaccinating Workforce **role leads the process for centralised authorisation for the vaccination workforce portfolio and provides professional input, advice, and delivery in relation to the vaccination workforce portfolio as a senior member of the Vaccination Administration Team.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience
- Proven experience successfully contributing to programmes of work through change and achieving improved results
- Proven experience collaborating with diverse groups of people
- Extensive experience working to improve public health outcomes, reduce inequities and improve the health of communities living in New Zealand, draw on extensive experience in varied environments
- Significant health practice experience in culturally diverse communities
