Kōrero mō te Tūranga - About the Role
The Programme Co-ordinator is responsible for the provision of high quality, timely and proactive diary, and programme co-ordination administrative support to the Director of Operational Programme Delivery.
You'll be the go-to person to keep progress humming. Keeping our foundations solid will be key to your success - so you'll be responsible for scheduling, planning, agenda setting, minute taking, reporting, and support of month-end financials. You will assist with creating presentations and communication to internal stakeholders, manage travel requests and bookings, and support project and programme coordination.
You will work closely with other members of the project team, maintaining strong networks and connections within the wider work programmes across Te Uru Rākau - New Zealand Forest Service.

**To be successful in this role, you'll need**:

- Experience in project teams and with project methodologies.
- Experience with diary management and forward planning.
- Excellent relationship building skills to deal effectively with the initiative to take on a range of administrative and operational matters.
- Knowledge of administration, and business support systems and processes.
- Experience of records management systems, data entry and reporting tools.

Along with the above skillset you will be a motivated self-starter with the ability to understand the process of programme and project. You will be proactive and take the initiative on any issues that may arise.

We work with tangata whenua, landowners and the forestry and wood processing sectors to make the most of our forests contribution to Aotearoa New Zealand's social, cultural, environmental, and economic wellbeing.
The operational programme delivery directorate provides services to the branch to help the successful delivery of projects and provides assurance through monitoring and reporting on these projects. This helps to enable Te Uru Rākau - New Zealand Forest Service to achieve its objectives (IT, infrastructure, central project management) and drive change.
