Wellington City, New Zealand Government Communications Security Bureau Full time

Do you take pride in your organisational skills?
Do you enjoy being the glue that holds things together?
Are you proactive and able to work well with others?

The GCSB's Technology Directorate are looking for a dedicated Programme Coordinator to step in and provide support to our team of high performing, but fun-loving, Project Managers. No doubt there are other coordinator vacancies you have seen advertised online, but how many of them will give you the chance to be immersed in a community that many people aspire to work for?

**About the role**:
Your role within the team will be highly valued and the work you do will be instrumental in coordinating and managing various aspects of our programmes and projects; ensuring seamless integration and effective collaboration among team members. Your position will see you supporting 2-3 project managers who work across various programmes and manage separate projects. This will allow for variety in your work, and provide you with the opportunity to get involved in a range of projects that span the wider Intelligence Community.

**Some of your day-to-day duties may include**:
Tracking and capturing the status of projects
Risk management and financial monitoring
Producing effective communications, status reports and other project artefacts
Coordinating and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contractors and consultants

What can we offer you?

A supportive team environment - we have a friendly and inclusive culture where you can focus and learn.
Mentorship and professional development opportunities that will help you grow in your career.
Extra benefits - flexible schedule for work/life balance, a fun social club, in-house gym, childcare subsidies, health insurance and eye checks are just some of our everyday perks.

Who are we looking for?

Our hope is that you will have what we need.

You will be someone who enjoys finding ways to be efficient and organised. Open communication will be key in this role, as well as the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. You will also have a strong customer focus, understand business reporting and have strong problem solving skills. Being comfortable to self-manage and work independently will also be highly beneficial.

**We will also be looking for**:
2+ years' experience in a role that has required a high level of administration and coordination
The ability to plan effectively and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and effectively manage changing priorities
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively, you must hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
