Tēnei Tūranga | About this role
The Programme Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the effective administration of Te Pou Rangatōpū programmes within Integration services, and is expected to support organising, communicating, and controlling programme activities to ensure that the programmes are delivered in accordance with best practice and Ministry process and documentation requirements.

**As the Programme Coordinator you will**:

- Assist with programme planning, coordinating, scheduling, and resource control
- Assist with the project methodology deliverables and documentation (eg project plans, register management, status reports, risk and issue management)
- Provide support for programme and project governance and meetings. Prepare and distribute papers and agendas for programme or project meetings and take minutes.
- Coordinating status reporting and collating overall programme status reporting for leadership review.
- Assist in management of programme and project financials. Support with tracking programme/project expenditure and milestones.

Mōhou ake | About you
We are looking for an experienced Programme Coordinator who can work in a programme team, co-ordinating projects with multiple workstreams, and competing pressures.
To be successful in this role you will have experience in project or programme co-ordination roles.
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.

**You will also demonstrate**:

- Excellent organisational skills
- A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Understanding of project management standards, tools, and methodologies

Mātau rōpū ake | About our ministry, group, and team
At Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga, we work to provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to ākonga and whanau. To better deliver on this, we are currently undergoing an organisational design change. The transition phase to improve the way we deliver our purpose will be complete in 2023.
