Mō te Tūranga - About the role
This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave.
The Manager, Planning and Performance will enable the Crown Law Office to deliver on its strategic intentions and work programme, and meet its compliance, assurance and performance obligations. This position leads the strategy, planning, non-financial performance, risk, and assurance functions.
The role will be responsible for leading the development and translation of Crown Law's strategy into measurable actions and support the continual enhancement of assurance systems. In the interim the Manager, Planning, Performance and Assurance portfolio will also extend to oversight and management of some ministerial correspondence activities.
**The role has two direct reports**: Advisor Strategy and Advisor Ministerial Services.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- extensive experience leading organisational strategy, planning and performance
- demonstrated experience managing and leading projects including strategic change
- proven experience embedding, and maintaining strategy, planning, performance, risk and assurance, and ministerial services frameworks, policies, and processes
- proven experience providing organisational planning and performance advice
- proven relationship management and influencing skills - can build trust and facilitate cross organisational work programmes and bring people along on the journey.

**Location**: Te Whanganui-a-Tara - Wellington
This role is Wellington based and located next to Wellington bus and train station.
