**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced coordinator to join the Planning Governance and Support team within Te Waka Aukaha, Planning Design and Assurance business group, which is part of Kāwai ki te Iwi, Service Delivery and Operations.

Te Waka Aukaha | Planning Design and Assurance Group provides a range of support and enabling services to Kāwai ki te Iwi branch, including strategy development, investment and business planning; performance measurement and reporting; organisational development; service and process design; business intelligence and insights; business risk and assurance and Te Ara Vaka Pacific.

The Planning Governance and Support team work collaboratively across DIA to provide stewardship and coordination of our branch governance and investment systems and to lead all business planning and accountability activities on behalf of the Kāwai ki te Iwi branch.

As a Planning and Performance Coordinator, you will put your administration and co-ordination skills into practice by supporting the branch through co-ordination of planning, performance and reporting activities and consistent secretariat and administrative support to branch governance groups, committees, and boards.

**About you**:
This role will suit an experienced coordinator who enjoys working within a small, supportive team, on a varied range of work, and is comfortable working to deadlines.

**To be successful in the role you will have**:

- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills - including the ability to manage relationships and co-ordinate information from a diverse range of people.
- Effective communication
- both verbal and written, able to communicate with credibility and convey complex information to the understanding of different stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, organise and negotiate deadlines in the face of competing demands
- High level of initiative and attention to detail
- Organisational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Experience using of Microsoft products
- Experience in a planning and/or performance environment is desirable.
