About the role

We have created a new role to lead our Strategy, Planning and Performance (SPP) team and further lift organisational performance through delivering a revised regulatory strategy, enhanced planning, and best practice performance monitoring and reporting.

Reporting to the General Manager - Corporate and Market Services, the SPP Manager requires leadership, fresh thinking, and a sense of ownership for the organisation's performance.


The role has several functions, including the following:

  • Develop and lead a small but highly engaged team
  • Working with the Senior Leadership Team to translate strategic direction into strategy and planning processes and documents for both internal and external audiences
  • Developing and embedding internal processes and reporting which drive performance and optimal decisionmaking across the organisation
  • Driving continuous improvement through collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Delivering clear, highquality documents that provide transparency and drive engagement
You will have a demonstrable experience in planning, performance and reporting, ideally within the public sector or regulated organisations.
Are you someone with the following?

  • A minimum of two years experience operating at the consultant or a principal level in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • The ability to support and develop team members
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
