**Key Responsibilities**:The core purpose of this role will be to lead the Hydroxsys innovation, research, and development processes, targeting and delivering innovation in support of the overall business objectives. Working with the CEO and senior management you’ll also help to develop and manage new ideas and innovation, and their implementation throughout the company including the management of project pipelines and gating processes.

This is an interactive role, working cross-functionally within the business but also managing strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure the company offers the best products, services, and solutions.

**Essential Qualities**:

- Ph.D. or master’s degree in chemical engineering, or similar
- Experience in a commercial science/technology environment
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Strategically minded, agile, quick thinker, and solutions-oriented
- Proven business development, innovation, research, and development capability.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen.
