We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced learning and development professional to join the School of Graduate Studies in the role of Research Supervision Development Adviser. This position may be suitable for a secondment.

This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week role on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The salary range for this role is $80,900 - $99,900 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

**About you | He kōrero mōu**

You will need the ability to lead university-wide initiatives to improve the management and enhancement of research supervision, in alignment with the University’s strategic plans. You will need a history of managing complex programmes of work involving multiple stakeholders. You will also need to be an expert in instructional design, learning curation, and have strong facilitation skills.

**Important Skills | Nga Pūkenga Motuhake**

To be successful in this position, you will have:

- 5+ years’ experience in a similar programme development role, with at least 3 years’ responsibility for developing and managing a learning programme across a large and/or complex landscape.
- Experience working in a postgraduate research or doctoral programme.
- Experience consulting with key business stakeholders to identify capability needs and delivering the effective transfer of learning.
- Expertise in design and creation of digital learning solutions.
- Experience in academic development in a tertiary setting, including research supervision, will be an advantage.
