**Job Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the R&D department, focusing on advancing filtration and embalming techniques.
- Develop and implement new embalming chemicals and methods that are environmentally friendly and enhance the preservation quality.
- Innovate and improve filtration systems to minimise environmental impact.
- Conduct comprehensive research on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the funeral services industry.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Work closely with the operations team to integrate new technologies and practices into daily operations.
- Develop training programs for staff on new embalming and filtration techniques.
- Manage the R&D budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support research initiatives.
- Present findings and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
**Qualifications**
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in research and development, with a focus on chemical formulations, preferably in the funeral services industry.
- Strong knowledge of embalming techniques, chemical safety, and environmental regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in leading R&D projects from conception to implementation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
