We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Health and Safety professional to join us, to be based in either Auckland, Tauranga or Christchurch. This exciting opportunity will have you working alongside a team of proficient and collaborative health and safety practitioners. You will be working closely with the National Health and Safety Manager to support the implementation of the HEB health and safety strategy, and will play a pivotal role in helping us fulfil our goal of making sure all our people get home safe and healthy.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Managing, coaching, and developing the Health and Safety Advisory team
- Leading and supporting high potential consequence investigations (ICAM or similar methodologies)
- Conducting regular site inspections and visits across your designated region, and other regions where required
- Providing accurate and timely technical advice
- Coaching and training operational workers on best practice health and safety
- Monitoring, measuring and reporting on health and safety performance
- Delivering training and communication to ensure successful and sustainable implementation of health and safety initiatives
- Championing all HEB Construction health and safety procedures and requirements through active leadership
