**About the role**

The Supply Chain Management Group
_ _oversees the procurement, lifecycle management and sustainability of NZ police assets and equipment. As the Manager - Logistics Systems, you will be working within the Equipment Management team whose role is to ensure NZ Police’s frontline tactical equipment is fully supported.

Your role is primarily responsible to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the systems that support the logistics function for Police’s assets, equipment, and inventory. You will build relationships with police staff all over the country and be the conduit with ICT on system security audits and validation, system maintenance and troubleshooting including interface functionality and enhancements. You will also be a key member of the team that is responsible for gathering business requirements and align those with logistics system capabilities. You will develop and maintain system procedures and policies, serve as primary point-of-contact for end-users for system support and ticket resolution. In addition, you will oversee the training of new users (internal and external) on logistics systems and provide supplemental training development.

Key Accountabilities:

- Advise on logistic systems and leads logistics system implementations and enhancement projects
- Build relationships with ICT and other Police business partners, and acts a primary POC for logistic systems
- Manage the training on logistics systems and design and provide supplemental training development
- Develop and maintain logistic system procedures, policies, and continuous improvement.
