Based on Auckland's North Shore (Rosedale), the culture here is down-to-earth, collaborative and professional. You will be sitting with the finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller whilst communicating with the wider business.

The opportunity
This is an awesome opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant who is a great communicator, and team player.

Working up to trial balance, assisting with the financial accounts, and primarily involved in the main transactional area of finance.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on and in the detail with a professional approach and who has a real understanding of debits and credits

Key areas of the role include (non-exhaustive):

Assisting with financial accounting including;

  • Monthly Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual Budgets.
  • Assisting with the preparation of yearend Financial Reports.

Transactional duties include;

  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Reconciliation of AR/AP ledgers
  • Processing all expense claims and visa reimbursements.
  • Dealing with queries, discrepancies, and coming to solutions.
  • Bank reconciliations
  • GST returns
  • Ad hoc support when required

So what is your profile?


We are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant with a positive and driven attitude, someone who can be a key team player but also work independently and of their own initiative.

You must have at least two years of experience in a similar level role and exposure in the keys areas listed.
