About the Role:


Based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara | Wellington, this role is responsible for supporting the Whenua Services Team, who as a whole ensure farms, orchards, crops and forests are being well managed.


In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Whenua Services team and supporting the Whenua Services manager
  • Building effective relationships with key stakeholders including Farm Managers/Supervisors, Orchard/Crop Managers/Supervisors, Forest Managers.
  • Support the Whenua Services Manager in planning, monitoring and reporting of financial information
  • Preparing documentation and completion of follow up activities to a high standard

What we are looking for:


  • 2-3 years' experience in agribusiness/ farming.
  • A relevant agribusiness or agriscience qualification.
  • A strong understanding of operating farm systems and farm management.
  • Good working knowledge of dairy and drystock farm operations.
  • Understanding of farm financial accounts
  • Ability to build and foster strong relationships, both internal and external with specific reference to onfarm teams, including farm supervisors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Dynamics NAV, SharePoint and/or M365 is a bonus.
  • A desire and ability to practise correct pronunciation of Te Reo Māori is essential
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential.
