The Opportunity


Join the team and co-ordinate, develop and drive the Gallagher Animal Management Weighing and EID portfolio, with particular emphasis on growing our competitive position through product innovation and promotion of the unique Gallagher value proposition.

The focus is all about delivering ground breaking innovative products that add real business value and solve real customer problems

Key responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Understand customer needs and help identify key product requirements and features
  • Review category performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Participation in product development projects, guiding decisions that impact market success factors
  • Liaise with sales and marketing teams, coordinate and manage the launch of new products into the various markets including launch volumes, pricing recommendations, supply of product samples, and timely deployment of marketing materials with supporting key product information
  • Champion continuous improvement for all aspects of your portfolio
  • Support the training and development of our inmarket business development managers

To be successful in this role you need:

  • 5+ year experience in Product/Project Management
  • Strategic thinker
  • Understanding of livestock production systems and affinity with the farming sector would be beneficial
  • Willingness to adapt and learn
  • Customer empathy ability to connect with customers and uncover understand their jobs to be done, pains and gains.
