This network, extending over 6,000 km, is not just a collection of cables but a lifeline that connects households and businesses directly to the internet.


We operate as a wholesale entity, partnering with retail service providers (RSPs) and mobile network operators (MNOs), who in turn offer a diverse range of plans and services to customers using our robust network.

This collaboration has enabled us to reach over 249,000 households and businesses across regions including Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Manawatū-Whanganui, Taranaki, and Auckland.

The role


As the Integrations Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Tuatahi First Fibre stays in first place.

You will be responsible for ensuring maximum value form our Integration Platform, understanding customer needs, defining and prioritising features, through to release and value realisation.

You will work closely with our cross functional teams and across our business to ensure our platform is recognised as the best.

You will be highly motivated, a strong collaborator with a natural focus on quality and high value outcomes.

Your unique contribution


Your in-depth knowledge of the Product Owner role will bring a sense of direction and purpose to derive the best value from our Integration platform.


You will also need to be:

  • A visionary to create a product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's goals and customer needs.
  • Available to bring the right amount of knowledge, the right amount of detail at the right time, to keep ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of product development.
  • A strong communicator able to translate stakeholder requirements into clear and actionable user stories.
  • Comfortable working in a complex environment with a technology team delivering APIs to our business customers.
  • Quality conscious ensuring that the product increments meet quality standards and fulfil stakeholder requirements.
  • A confident and timely decision maker, able support the teams when and where they need it.

Your Skills and Capabilities
You will bring your best self to us with the following:

  • Experience as a product owner, must understand and have the ability to "make value measurable" and seamlessly align delivery and business teams
  • Sharp analytical and mindset and ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Strong problemsolving skills, understanding the process of exploring an issue and then taking focused action.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and the conflicting needs of stakeholders.


Also, useful but by no means essential would be experience in the Telecommunications and/or Utilities markets, experience working with the ServiceNow platform and product owner certification.
