About the role:


Working as a Product Owner within our Transformation Office, you'll play a pivotal role shaping our product landscape and delivering value to customers.

From understanding strategic objectives to fostering collaboration, your influence spans product strategy, design, and roadmap planning.

You'll translate business goals into actionable solutions, making a significant impact in a role that blends strategy and collaboration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop a deep understanding of LIC's business and become recognised as an expert in your product domain.
  • Use your knowledge of product frameworks to drive faster, better quality decision making and delivery.
  • Own the creation and prioritisation of the agile team(s) backlog, ensuring visibility and transparency.
  • Actively participate in the agile team, translating the roadmap into actionable backlog items and ensuring a focus on both functional and nonfunctional requirements.
  • Foster a culture of datadriven decisionmaking within your team, using metrics for valuable business insights.
  • Liaise with relevant teams for the successful launch of new features or enhancements, balancing pragmatism, best practices, and longterm product health.
  • Ensure outcomes and impacts of work are measured, wellcommunicated, and understood by stakeholders.
  • Maintain transparent, highlevel communication with all stakeholders on progress, scope, estimates, and roadblocks, backed by rationale and metrics.
  • Contribute to product strategy, design discovery, and roadmap planning.

About You
You'll be an experienced Product Owner, bringing with you experience gained within environments that have an established product management practice

You'll also demonstrate:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to develop a product roadmap.
  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Agriculture, Business, or Technology preferred).
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban is advantageous.
