About the Role


Join our Marketing & Products team as a Diagnostics Product Specialist, where you'll manage and enhance the performance of our current diagnostics product line.

You'll play a pivotal role in driving market activity by organising awareness campaigns, conducting farmer education initiatives, and providing crucial training and support to our Agri Manager teams.

Additionally, you'll be at the forefront of new product launches, ensuring successful market penetration and adoption.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Product Management & Development: Oversee the entire lifecycle of diagnostics products, from inception to implementation, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Crossfunctional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Marketing & Products team to devise and execute effective promotional strategies for diagnostics products, aligning with activity targets.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the goto expert on diagnostics products, delivering comprehensive training sessions to Agri Manager teams, rural professionals, and farmers.
  • Customer Experience Management: Take ownership of the customer experience for each diagnostics product, driving ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Compliance: Ensure full compliance with company policies, regulations, and legislation governing product management and marketing activities.
  • Reporting: Regularly report on key successes and progress to management and relevant stakeholders within the NZ Market Group and Sales and Marketing Team.

About You

  • An understanding of LIC Products and Services, as well as the dairy industry landscape, including the needs of shareholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in product marketing and/or development, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders across various functions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for conveying complex information and ideas effectively.
  • Be a team player who can engage well with stakeholders.
  • Hold a tertiary qualification ideally in Agribusiness, Science, or Marketing.
