Are you seeking a new full-time job in risk management in the investment and financial services industry? APEX Group is looking for a Risk Administrator - NZ, and the hybrid role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.


In this Risk Administrator - NZ role, you'll be working as part of a Local Risk Management team that provides support for implementing and compliance with the Apex Risk Management Framework in NZ.

You will also support the Head of Risk - NZ in implementing the framework and compliance.

In your first few weeks in this Risk Administrator role, you can expect to:

  • Support the Head of Risk
  • NZ to proactively manage risk by identifying, assessing, and reporting risk and controls (adequacy and effectiveness)
  • Support testing and reporting on adequacy/effectiveness of critical risks and identification of control mitigation and oversight of implementation within timelines
  • Ensure local risk reporting is escalated through the Risk Function to ensure accurate and timely Enterprise Risk Management reporting at a Group level
  • Support maintenance oversight on adherence to critical policies and procedures on risk management.
  • An understanding of risk frameworks in a Financial Services context
  • Experience working in both first and second lines of defense.
  • Be a team player who is prepared to lead and follow, assisting others when required.
