This is a full-time permanent position (40 hours per week) based in Petone, Wellington
The remuneration range for this role is $67,382 to $95,128 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
The opportunity

You will support the Head of Wastewater Contracts and the Wastewater Contracts Team (WWCT) in the effective and efficient management of the Regional Wastewater Treatment Plants Contract.

You will be the primary administrative point of contact for contract related activities and will lead the administrative activities. If you are a highly organised person with high attention to detail this opportunity could be for you

In this role you will get to:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across Wellington Water to ensure Wastewater Contract processes are effective
  • Lead administrative activities such as H&S, contract, operations, consent, and other regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Undertake the financial administration for the contract
  • Be responsible for the oversight and coordination of all risk, assurance, and compliance activities in line with contract
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the contract parties
About you

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • A relevant degree in contract management, business, finance, marketing or management or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in, and the ability to read, analyse and interpret legal documents, financial reports, and technical documents
  • Highly effective organising and time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in managing relationships to influence performance and improve outcomes
  • A good understanding of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Contract management experience for utilities infrastructure an advantage

Wellington Water is the Wellington region's professional water services provider.

We are 100 per cent council owned and funded by Wellington City, Hutt City, Porirua City, and Upper Hutt City councils, Greater Wellington Regional Council and South Wairarapa District Council.
