About this role - Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
The University is looking for an experienced manager with innovative leadership to manage the universities Primary Health Services.

Reporting to the Associate Director Student Wellbeing, you will have responsibility managing the Primary health Services across the three campuses.

Ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive range of integrated primary health services, which help improve and maintain the health and wellbeing of students to support their academic success.

We are offering an exciting opportunity to lead the direction of current primary health services to work in a national model acknowledging regional requirements.

The university has a unique role in the health and wellbeing of students while they complete their studies.

You will be part of a collaborative supportive leadership group within the Student Wellbeing directorate, who share a collective focus on ensuring services are student centred.


As National Manager Primary Health Services, Massey can offer:

The role is key to ensuring the university health services meet health care standards, including Health and Disability and requirements as outlined by Te Whatu Ora, contracts held with health partners.

Services also comply to the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 202I, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and Health, and Safety requirements.


About you - Ko koe tēnei:

  • You will have a sense of fresh vison, proven leadership, and be relational to a diverse group
  • Practical experience in Clinical or Health service provision
  • At least five years' experience in managing and leading staff within the health sector, nationally a bonus
  • Experience with patient management software
