Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The new national Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC) senior leadership team is being established within Te Whatu Ora.

This leadership group will support the development and implementation of Te Whatu Ora's P&SC operating model which is _Nationally-led, and Delivered Nationally, Regionally and Locally.

_


The primary purpose of the Governance and Engagement National Manager role is to support the effective engagement and governance activity of the P&SC Director and their senior leadership team.

Specifically, to provide quality advice and key stakeholder management to support the GM Strategy & Engagement in partnership with the Director of P&SC.

The role will need to ensure robust processes are in place to manage inbound and outbound information that works effectively for the P&SC group.


Provide, via your team, secretariat support to any P&SC governance/stakeholder groups that are led by the P&SC leadership team members and to ensure significant internal and external P&SC relationships are managed effectively.

  • Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
  • At least 5 years leading functions relevant to the role, including leading an Office of the Director
  • At least 3 years leading a team
  • At least 3 years working with senior leadership teams and facilitating conversations related to the role's functional areas

This role requires and/or would benefit from the following

  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a willingness to learn and grow
