Key Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Administrator, you will be an integral part of our finance team, working closely with the Accounts Manager

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate recording of all transactions.
  • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Process batch payments and manage files for banking system uploads.
  • Handle IRD tax payments promptly (GST, PAYE, FBT).
  • Generate and distribute accurate and timely customer invoices.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and address overdue accounts.
  • Review, edit, and approve weekly timesheets.
  • Address payrollrelated inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while complying with relevant regulations.

About you:

  • Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping.
  • Previous experience in accounting administration, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with payroll and knowledge of current regulations.
  • Understanding of taxes and GST.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
