Te Tūranga - The Role


Our Service Management Centre (SMC) provides 24/7 monitoring of our customer systems and networks, managing network events and incidents from start through to resolution.

This newly created role within the SMC team is responsible for ensuring highly effective and consistent change management processes across managed service and customer operations, in accordance with the ITIL change management framework and best practice.


In this role, you will drive the ongoing delivery of world class change management services for the company and our customers, ensuring that change management processes are well understood and consistently followed, with an emphasis on ensuring customer satisfaction.


Key responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Chair change management meetings with internal colleagues, Service Providers and Customers.
  • Represent Tait in customer Change Advisory Board meetings.
  • Lead and coordinate emergency CAB when required.
  • Lead the post change review meeting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assess the status of change type to efficiently manage the change process.
  • Gather the necessary Change Management data for KPI and SLA periodic reporting requirements.

Ō pūkenga - About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • ITIL 4 foundation certificate and experience using ITIL 4 framework-based service management practices.
  • Network and service management experience in RF.
  • 2+ years' experience in a technical network management environment.
  • Experience executing at least one service transition project.


In addition, we're looking for someone able to communicate well with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, who has experience managing technical change processes with a focus on timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
