**Te kāinga rua | The opportunity**

We’re looking for a GIS Analyst to join our Christchurch Digital Services team. Christchurch Digital Services includes GIS and Digital Consulting and interfaces closely with a national team. In your role with the team you will undertake geospatial analysis and produce client deliverables, supporting the full lifecycle of a work package and working closely with other members of the team. The geospatial analysis will include providing technical advice, solving spatial and technical matters and managing data in a range of formats. You’ll work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders as part of our national GIS and data analytics discipline.

The GIS team is recognised as playing a key support and customer fronting role across a number of industries (including land development, government advisory, water, transport, asset management and more). We seek to constantly grow and develop as consultants and invest in our people to deliver great results for our clients. We offer a flexible working environment, and while the role advertised is full time, we are open to negotiation for other arrangements.

**Te rongoā | About you**

As a GIS professional with 1-3 years’ experience, you will be ready for your next career move.
- Working experience with ESRI ArcGIS toolsets is essential
- Experience with spatial analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic about all things GIS with a hunger to learn and develop
- Experience working with clients

Experience with the following tools would be an advantage
- Data visualization toolsets such as Power BI
- Other GIS tools such as FME
- Coding languages such as Python
